i totally agree with this propoposal. the two areas have different needs, interests, and should not be together. also due to economic and gas prices for those people in the central city they have along way to drive to the MLA's office. we are dealing with farms, orchards, wineries, total city living and rural living which have different needs and wants. i have had discussions on this topic with Mr. Andrew Powell. i have never understood why they did this and have questioned people about this. I don't feel it is really doing justice or fairness to both groups of people from these two very different groups..... I have lived in this Valley between Penticton and Kelowna all my life. My grandparents had the Dairy for Keremos, Hedly, and Princeton from 1919 to 1960 plus. I have had Uncles with businesses, and orchards in all these areas so understand the differences that different groups of people and rather than their needs and wants. It is better to group people with similar needs in a riding rather than groups from different spectrums of the working and land use line.
