The idea of a new Surrey-Guildford electoral district is a positive one. Guildford is one of the more prominent neighbourhood centres of Surrey and giving it more prominence in our electoral district will, I think, go over well. The essentially straight southern boundary could be made even simpler and easier to remember by starting at 96 Ave and 140 St and running due east before following Golden Ears Way and the highway.
However, if splitting Green Timbers Park in two would force you to have to mess with the Green Timbers district, I can see why you’d stick with the lines you’ve already drawn. Just something to consider. Highway 1 cuts through the middle of the district and creates a bit of a physical divide. That said, I’d bet the majority of people in Fraser Heights regularly cross into the rest of the district and recently expanded/improved highway crossings have made Guildford and Fraser Heights more connected.
