    Dear Commission

I am writing to you today as a constituent of Fleetwood regarding the proposed Surrey Fleetwood electoral boundary. I appreciate all the hard work the Commission has put into this very important and much needed boundary change. After reviewing the proposal there is a small change I feel may be required to keep the Fleetwood community intact. The Fleetwood Park and Fleetwood Secondary School should be kept inside the Surrey Fleetwood electoral boundary as both are important gathering and social centres for Fleetwood.

As I have expressed my appreciation for your hard work making this change to the proposal would only be a minimum adjustment. Further, if the south end of the boundary ran along 76 Ave. between 144 St and 160 St would include the park and school as part of Fleetwood. Also, running the eastern boundary along 160 St would make the map less choppy and more concise and easily understood. These minor changes should balance the population difference with minor deviation from your original proposal.

Otherwise, your preliminary report is very appropriate and I do not recommend any further changes to be made.

    Sincerely

    Gurinder Sandhu
    Surrey Fleetwood
