Combining communities north of Little Fort with the Cariboo electoral district would be a mistake.
Geography and weather have always dictated the necessity of north-south consultation for problem solving in both jurisdictions.
Shifting our MLA from the current Kamloops base would remove knowledgeable representation at the provincial level. Our local politicians have always striven to teach the MLA of the day about the valley's history and economic needs.
That is particularly important when addressing problems in health care and education.
The economic flow has always followed the river and the political currents should do the same.
