I read in the newspaper that the Peace River North and South ridings will remain in tact but you were quoted as saying that a possible "massaging of the boundaries" may occur. My strong opinion is that the current riding boundaries are correct and that any "massaging" would do a great disservice to either riding. Taylor, for instance, is closer to Fort St John and is on the north side of the Peace River (thus Peace River North). and we are very connected to them in many ways. Adding or subtracting communities from either riding will only answer a short term rise or fall in populations so please let the boundaries remain as they are now.

I am also disappointed that you chose to visit northern BC during the same week as UBCM. You missed out on a great opportunity to hear from local government leaders directly . I would strongly encourage you to consider re-visiting the north to take advantage of their local government knowledge.

    Thank you for your consideration.
