    Dear EBC Team,
This submission is for requesting the three ridings west of Prince George are not reduced to two ridings. The northern portion of BC from 100 Mile House up is vast, sparsely populated and an economic driver for British Columbia. The lifestyles, values, and environment are unique in comparison to our urban southern neighbours. It is important to the folks living in the north that our voices be heard, our issues represented, and our rights protected. It is challenging for our ridings like the Northcoast to be well presented where in order to connect with its constituents much of the accessibly can only be done by air or boat. The Stikine Riding takes approximately 18 hours to drive from one end to the other. The Skeena Riding has the Nisga’a Nation, a standalone government, as part of its riding. To even consider reducing the number of these ridings would be to lessen the voices and representation of the folks in these ridings. The north is unique and its rights need to be protected. Please ensure three ridings west of Prince George remain.

    Thank you.
