    Dear Commission,

I have only just learned of your ongoing review of our Provincial Electoral Districts and wish I had more time to compile a better submission.

I have been a long-time resident of Pitt Meadows and we enjoy a great relationship with our Maple Ridge neighbours. In fact the area is undergoing a “RidgeMeadows” branding to highlight this relationship.

I note from your online data that both ridings of Maple Ridge–Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge–Mission show a 2014 population of just over 58,000. While on the high side of an 87 riding scenario these figures are still well within the allowable +/- 25% range of 40,000 to 66,000.

I would like to see the Commission leave these two ridings alone

    Sincerely,

    Deb walters
