The following input and submissions were gathered by the commission through public hearings held in 29 communities throughout B.C. from September to November 2014. The public also provided input through the online submission form, by email and by mail to be reviewed and considered as the commission develops a Preliminary Report for further public input.

    This is rural BC we are largely agriculture and a lot of forestry we actually contribute a lot of dollars to government and it is time that our voice was heard not diminished more which is what any change to boundaries would do....we need representation as our areas are very large already. If we are attached to another area we will have no voice at all. Many of us are getting really tired of this... we are not urban bc and do not want to be urban bc is it not time government celebrated rural bc rather than trying to shut us out... do not entertain any further boundary changes
