    Kate Maxon, Lillooet

I will make my concerns concise and to the point:

There is no REAL need to change boundaries in this time of fiscal instability. It will not help ranchers, miners and loggers who have long been involved in the economics of each geographic would benefit bureaucrats, while wasting taxpayer dollars that are needed new logos, letterheads and business cards are justified here.

I believe Lillooet should remain within the boundaries of the Fraser-Nicola because of our close ties with other communities, like:
Ashcroft which is our Gold Trail School District seat [even though THAT should have remained IN Lillooet.]
Kamloops: where most people from Lillooet shop; few go north to Williams Lake or 100 Mile for regular shopping.
Merritt: where our Forestry HQ is now located [Yet ANOTHER economic contributor taken away from Lillooet!]

Let's KIS, save taxpayer $$ and not change regional boundaries
