    Dear Election Boundary Committee,

As a resident of the downtown area I would like to suggest that you consider two ideas that might be helpful for the electoral boundaries of the high densities areas of Vancouver.

    1. Coal Harbour has a strong neighborhood identity that has an affinity towards the newer areas of Vancouver. Currently only the Eastern part of the neighborhood is connected to the other newer parts of the downtown while the western part is appended to the older West End neighborhood.

    2. The Eastern part of Kitsilano is currently in the same riding as the Eastern part of Coal Harbour. Because this is an older mostly rental neighborhood it shares more in common with the West End than it does with Coal Harbour.

I would respectfully recommend that the entire neighborhood of Coal Harbour be connected with the other similar neighborhoods in Yaletown, International Village and the Olympic Village and that east Kitsilano be in the West End Riding.

    Yours sincerely,
    Farhan Lalani
